January, 2026

This was the month when the building of this platform started.

On 12th Jan, this idea randomly hit me, and I started executing on it. I had no clear plan, no proper structure in mind, and honestly no idea how I would make it all work — but I started anyway.

The initial goal was simple: create a platform where I could document my developer journey, write devlogs, share what I learn, and slowly turn it into something useful for other developers as well.

During this process, I learned how to use MDX for content, figured out routing and content structure, and spent a lot of time understanding how all the pieces would fit together.

One thing that was particularly tricky was building the sidebar logic and handling the filesystem-based content structure. Managing routes, nested folders, and dynamic content flow took more time than I initially expected.

I did take help from AI while figuring out these parts, mainly to understand better approaches and unblock myself faster. At that point, shipping the first version and getting the foundation ready mattered more than getting stuck for days trying to solve everything alone.

There were a lot of moments where things did not work the way I expected. I had to go through a lot of trial and error, break things, fix them, and rethink parts of the architecture multiple times.

But eventually, after all of that, I shipped the first version on 29th January, 2026.

It was far from perfect, but shipping the first version felt great. More importantly, the foundation was finally there.

This was just the beginning.
